Fishface is a recurring villain in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. Specifically, he is known for his role in the animated series TMNT, which premiered in 2012.
Originally a human named Xever Montes, a Brazilian street thug with impressive martial arts skills, he was recruited by Shredder into the Foot Clan. Xever's ambition and ruthlessness made him a valuable asset, but also a rival to Leonardo.
During a confrontation with the TMNT, Xever was accidentally mutated when he fell into a vat of mutagen along with several fish. The transformation resulted in his permanent form: a humanoid fish with enhanced strength and agility. Despite his new appearance, he retained his cunning and remained a loyal member of the Foot Clan.
Fishface often serves as one of Shredder's enforcers, working alongside other mutants like Dogpound and Rahzar. He harbors a deep resentment towards the Turtles, particularly Leonardo, for his mutation and actively seeks revenge.
